Capture The Trail

Light Painting

This is extremely nerdy stuff, The experimentation is done by Dentsu ad agency in collaboration with Berg. The method creating this cool stuff is simply using two iPads to paint with light. They created 3D models of words, played a film of the cross section of those three dimensional words and then captured the results on a camera set to a slow shutter speed. All these techniques I gathered so far head to same direction creating a stop motion animation.

Bad Meaning Good

This stop-motion animation was animated by Jack Wells a upcoming Graphics Designer from Brighton. I really like the way he made this quite popular stop-motion technique very his own. He takes you through this journey where you almost feel that your actually there. The concept might look a bit irrelevant to my 24 hours brief but the time-lapse technique is truly useful to use in my current brief.

Rymdreglage - 8-Bit Trip

This 8-bit stop-motion LEGO animation is very impressive. The animation was done by Tomas Redigh of the Swedish duo Rymdreglage. Observing this stop-motion animation has inspired the way they captured 1500 hours of moving Lego bricks resurrecting the 8-Bit era. I can possibly experiment with stop-motion in capturing my 24 hour life.

Futurist Art Movement

This art piece is a painting by David Burliuk which was a one-eyed Ukrainian avant-garde artist witch was associated with the Russian Futurism. I really like the way the art is expressed in a dull and in the mean time vibrant colours to express the peoples emotions and time. The painting is very expressive looking deeper into his manifesto witch reflected Burliuk's political and philosophical statement on the Great Depression.
